The Thungs are in the middle of recording their third cd, and saw the RPM Challenge as a chance to have some fun and to blow off a little steam. We recorded most of the music between the 24th and 26th (with the exception of the Others’ songs*) and on the 26th we got together and said, “What happened this month?” Current Events is the result. *Under the name The Others, the Thungs write and record songs about ABC’s show Lost. The songs are written, recorded, and posted within days of the new episode. The Others songs were recorded 2/8, 2/15, and 2/23. www.myspace.com/theotherslostband
